  • Personal Service website - by credit card
  • Payments website – by credit card or bank transfer.
  • Call center at 08-6509911 or *6050 – by credit card, through a payment arrangement by a bank or credit card standing order, or in certain circumstances by a deduction from the allowance you are paid.
  • Post office bank – payment in cash by means of a remittance slip.
  • Branches of the National Insurance Institute – by credit card, through a payment arrangement by a bank or credit card standing order, by payment vouchers, by checks, or in certain circumstances by a deduction from the allowance you are paid.
Payment of arrears in installments will include the applicable rate of interest by law.

Please note,
Upon signing a payment arrangement and as long as you meet its terms, you are considered, as far as your rights and obligations at the NII are concerned, as having paid the insurance contributions subject to the agreement.

Fines and linkage differentials

Insurance contributions that are not paid on time will accrue fines and linkage differentials.
The National Insurance Institute may waive fines, in part or in full, based on a motived request and for special justifying circumstances.

You can submit a fines reduction and, in certain cases, a linkage differentials reduction request through the Personal Service site, call center *6050, at branches of the National Insurance Institute or on the website, by means of a fines and linkage differentials cancellation/reduction application form.

Fines and indexation cancellation/reduction is conditional upon payment of arrears.
