Rights of returning hostages and their families

We are profoundly happy upon your return to your homeland Israel, and wish you a speedy and full recovery.

The National Insurance is here for you to provide you with personal support and an package of economic and emotional benefits that may help you, even if only a little, to adjust back to life.

Our social workers will accompany you and your family throughout the recovery period, and be at your disposal to provide advice, guidance and orientation on any issue and on exercising your rights. Do not hesitate to contact us in any matter.

Important information! Hostages who returned from captivity will be treated by the National Insurance as hostile actions casualties, and their rights will be identical to those of victims of hostile actions.

On this site you will find information about the rights and benefits that you and your family members are entitled to during the first adaptation period under the current applicable law. To  realize these benefits, please either contact the social worker who is accompanying you or wait until he or she contacts you individually.
