Following the National Insurance Administration's assessment of the situation, we inform you that the National Insurance is an essential organization. Therefore, given safety requirements, its continued operations will be maintained as much as possible, as follows:

iconPublic reception and Medical Boards at branches

Medical Boards

To maintain the safety of Israeli citizens and in accordance with the guidelines, no frontal Medical boards will be held throughout the country.

Please note that those able to attend a board via video chat will contacted personally.

Public reception at branches

  • Citizens who have booked an appointment at National Insurance branches across the country will have their appointment converted into a telephone appointment, and a branch employee will contact them by phone to process their claim.
    We emphasize that no physical visits will take place at branches for citizens safety sake. However, your turn will be maintained, and telephone response and processing will be provided.
  • Anyone who needs service from a branch - can book an appointment for a telephone response through the website, and a branch employee will contact them by phone on the date of the appointment.

Advance payment of June benefits

Due to the security situation, we will advance the payment of the following benefits:

Old-age, survivors, work injury, alimony, general disability, attendance for the severely disabled, mobility, long-term care and prisoners of Zion - they will be paid on 25.6.25 instead of 29.6.25.

Emergency hotline 02-6269999 for immediate assistance to the wounded and bereaved families

The hotline will operate from Sunday through Thursday between 8:00 and 18:00.

It will operate normally, but overload is to be expected due to the security situation and war-related needs.

Assistance for the injured and evacuees

  • Moderately to severely injured people will receive from us, immediately, an aid of approximately NIS 6,500 to help them in the initial stages of their hospitalization. Rehabilitation workers will reach the injured who are in hospitals to ensure that they receive their full rights and comprehensive assistance as much as possible.
  • Handling of evacuees: National Insurance teams went to some of the hotels to which citizens whose homes were damaged were evacuated.
    Over the next few days, these teams will continue to visit hotels to provide assistance and help in taking-up rights.

We will continue to pay benefits and make payments regularly.

iconProcessing vehicles belonging to mobility impaired people that were damaged in Iranian attacks

If damage was caused to 'vehicles of mobility impaired people' following the Iranian attacks, you can contact the Property Tax Administration - the body authorized to handle such damage.

After receiving approval from the Property Tax Administration - you must contact the National Insurance with the approval in order to assess a potential approval for vehicle replacement and a new loan.

  • A situation assessment was conducted with long-term care providers regarding the care of elderly people requiring long-term care in general, and those living in isolation in particular.
    It was agreed to monitor and identify their medical and social needs during the state of emergency and address them accordingly.
  • The resilience centers and Natal hotlines have been strengthened. Anyone feeling anxious about the security situation is encouraged to contact them directly by dialing *3362.
  • Many inquiries from victims of hostile actions and bereaved families have been received, for which the security situation is causing "triggers" and anxiety. The National Insurance therefore recommends that anyone in need contact their personal therapist or the emergency lines for psychological assistance.
  • The National Insurance's IT system is prepared to deal with scenarios specific to the security situation.
