How is the allowance calculated for a child with more than one medical condition?


The allowance will be paid based on the medical condition that qualifies for the highest amount.

Examples:
  • A child who has been granted eligibility for partial supervision at a rate of 50%, autism at a rate of 100% and dependency on assistance from others at a rate of 112% - will receive an allowance at the rate of 112%.
  • A child who has been granted eligibility for autism at a rate of 100%, communication assistance at a rate of 50% and partial supervision needs at a rate of 50% - will receive an allowance at the rate of 100%.
