I employ a foreign worker in my household. Do I have a reporting and payment obligation toward the National Insurance Institute?

Although a foreign resident worker is not insured for medical care under the Public Health Insurance Law, the employer must, for insurance branches covered by the National Insurance Law, report and pay insurance contributions to the National Insurance Institute, even if the employer covered the worker with private insurance. A foreign resident worker employed in a household is not covered by national insurance but for work injury and bankruptcy branches.
