The pension is paid to the bank account of the entitled person, provided that this account is in his or her name or owned jointly with a member of his family: spouse, son/daughter, siblings.
In localities without bank branches, the pension is paid through post offices, upon the decision of the claims officer.
The National Insurance Institute pays a pension by cheque, e-mail or rechargeable card, only to persons in debt who are unable to open a bank account.
