Agriculture and construction work incentive grant


The incentive grant will be paid to those working in agriculture and construction during the "Iron Swords" war - according to specific conditions of entitlement.

Who is entitled to a grant?

Is eligible for the grant the individual who meets all the following conditions:

  • He or she is a salaried worker and an Israeli resident.
  • He or she started working in the agriculture or construction industries during the period between 7.10.23 and 31,12,23, and did not work in those industries in the months of July, August and September 2023. The work must be full time as is customary in the sector in which he is working.
  • He or she worked in person (not remotely) at the workplace at least 11 days per month, and earned at least 2 786 ILS of gross wage.
    In the count of 11 days will not be included the days of remote work from home, nor sick days or days of paid leave.

Period of entitlement

One can receive a grant for 3 months of work at most, during the period from 1.11.23 to 31.3.24.

Grant amount

If the workplace is located in a non-evacuated area

  • For the first month - NIS 3,000
  • For the second consecutive month of work - NIS 3,000
  • For the third consecutive month of work - NIS 4,000

If the workplace is located in an evacuated village

  • For the first month - NIS 6,000
  • For the second consecutive month of work - NIS 6,000
  • For the third consecutive month of work - NIS 8,000

How to submit a claim

Submitting a claim through the employer

  • The employer needs to submit each month a claim for a grant on behalf of the worker online on the website.
  • Please not, before submitting a claim, you have to issue to us a Form 100 (worker's wage data). Without this form, we won't be able to process your claim.
  • For each month, a claim must be submitted at the beginning of the next month. For instance: for the month of November, a claim can be submitted at the beginning of December.
  • After the employer submitted a claim, the worker shall declare that his did not work in the fields of agriculture and construction in the months of July, August and September 2023 - through the SMS message sent to him.

One may also make a declaration on the Personal Service website or through the *6050 call center.

If the employer did not submit a claim

The worker can submit a claim on his own. We are currently working on developing a dedicated form for the worker. We will notify you on the website when this form is ready.

Until when a claim for promotion grant can be submitted ?

The time limit to submit a claim for incentive grant is 31.3.25.

When will the grant be paid?

  • A claim approved from the 1st to the 17th of the month - will be paid on the 20th of that same month.
  • A claim approved from the 18th to the 27th of the month - will be paid on the 1st of the next month.
  • A claim approved from the 28th to the 31st of the month - will be paid on the 20th of the next month.

Grant payment

The worker will receive the grant on his or her bank account as updated at the National Insurance.

Is it possible to receive a "return-to-work promotion grant" as well as a "agriculture and construction work incentive grant"?

  • One cannot receive both a promotion grant and an incentive grant in the same month.
  • A person eligible for a promotion grant and an incentive grant in the same month - will receive whichever grant is higher.
  • A person eligible for an incentive grant with more than one employer in the same month - will only receive one grant.
