Hostile actions casualty convey for burial

A hostile actions casualty will be conveyed for burial in the cemetery chosen by a close relative.

Family members are entitled to choose to bury the victim even in an area located outside the place of his/her residence or death.

This right is also granted when family members have selected a closed cemetery or an exceptional burial plot in a cemetery that holds a valid permit to deal with burials, given by the Minister of Religious Services.

Burial costs are paid by the National Insurance Institute directly to the Hevra Kadisha.
