Annual memorial service grant


​Bereaved parents, widows and widowers, orphan (in case of death of the widow) or the brother (in case of death of bereaved parents) - are entitled to an annual grant of participation to memorial service expenses.
In presence of multiple eligible person (several orphans or brothers) - the eligible will send the Hostile Actions Casualty Department of the local branch, a joint statement of consent appointing one of the family members as beneficiary of the grant. This statement may also be provided through the website.website.

Grant amount: NIS 1,013 (as of January 2023).

How the grant is paid?

To bereaved parents, widow and widowers entitled to monthly compensations - the grant is paid automatically during the month of death, according to Gregorian calendar.

When a compensation is paid - a memorial service grant claim shall be submitted to the Hostile Actions Casualty Department of the local branch, in order to obtain the grant. You can also submit the claim through the website.

For a victim who did not leave any survivor - the memorial service grant is paid to the relative who bore the costs of service, and did submit a claim for payment of grant to the Hostile Actions Casualty Department of a branch, together with receipts.
