Qualifying period for a man


You will be entitled to an old-age pension if you accumulated one of the following periods during which covered on old-age insurance:

  • 60 months within the 10 years that preceded the age entitling you to an old-age pension,
  • 144 months,
  • At least 60 months, provided that the number of months that you were covered, from the date you became an Israeli resident for the first time, exceeds the number of months that you were not covered.

If you are a returning resident, and have not completed the insurance period as above, you may be eligible for a special old-age benefit until you accumulate the insurance period required for entitlement to old-age pension.
