Widows and widowers, recognized by the Department of survivors or whose spouse has died due to a work accident, may be entitled to vocational rehabilitation if they meet the following conditions:
They have no profession or are unable to support themselves with their current profession.
They require vocational retraining as a result of being widowed.
They are not entitled to vocational training under any other law.
The Rehabilitation Officer believes that they are suitable for vocational training taking into account their level of education, health, and physical fitness.
