The National Insurance Institute helps people with disabilities, widows and widowers to join the labor force.
Vocation rehabilitation involves: occupational assessment, academic or vocational studies, financing study accessories, ongoing support during studies and help in job placement.
Social workers of the Vocational Department will prepare, for you, a personal rehabilitation plan and be by your side along the rehabilitation process until you join the labor force.

What should I do to receive vocational rehabilitation?

  • Conditions of entitlement and further information are available here
  • One must fill out a claim form for vocational rehabilitation and attach required documents.
  • After receiving the claim, we will invite you to a meeting with a rehabilitation worker to assess you eligibility and rehabilitation options available to you.
  • The notification of rehabilitation eligibility will appear on your your Personal Service account.
  • The rehabilitation worker will consolidate with you the appropriate rehabilitation program and will accompany you along the rehabilitation process and provide you with information regarding rehabilitation payments.
