The disability pension is paid from the 91st day of determining the degree of disability.
For example, if you were found disabled as of 1.1.2017, you would begin receiving a disability pension on 1.4.2017.
Retroactive payment can be received for a maximum of 12 months from the date of claim submission.
Disability pension payment from the 31st day of determining the degree of disability
Since 1.3.16, the disability pension will be paid from the 31st day of determining the degree of disability, to those for whom a 100% degree of disability has been determined, for a period of at least 6 months.
Payment method: The pension for the 31st day onwards will be paid after the 91st day of determining the degree of disability.
Payment Amount: For the period between the 31st and the 90th day, a disability pension of NIS 4,556 will be paid. During this period, the increment for children will not be paid. Those who are eligible for this supplement will begin receiving it from the 91st day.
Please note that if you are also eligible for an attendance allowance during this period, you will be paid the higher of the two benefits.
