If the unpaid leave lasts over 30 days, you will be eligible for unemployment benefit. You must register online on the Employment Service website, fill out on their website a special statement and send it by email (everything appears on the Employment Service website). At the same time you must fill out an online claim for unemployment benefit on the National Insurance Institute website. You must ensure that your employer sent us through his computer system a Form 100 – an abstract of your income, to let us shorten the handling time of your claim.
