Medical Appeals Board – Attendance allowance for Severely Disabled


Persons allowed to appeal to the Medical Appeals Board:

  • A recipient of disability benefit for whom a medical disability degree of at least 60% was determined, or a person who does not receive disability benefit for whom a medical disability of at least 75% was determined.
  • A person who was entitled to Attendance allowance before reaching the age of retirement.

Composition of the Medical Appeals Board:

  • A specialist doctor;
  • A nurse;
  • A specialist psychologist / physical therapist / occupational therapist or speech therapist.

The Medical Appeals Board is conducted in the same manner as the Medical Board.
