A person with limited mobility who wishes to purchase a private vehicle, whereas the committee for vehicle size has already determined that a special vehicle would be suitable for him, must make a request to that effect during the committee's hearing
; The committee will determine whether or not a private vehicle is suitable for him, and if so, to which private vehicle he is entitled.
If the committee decided that a private vehicle is suitable for him, the person with limited mobility will be entitled to a loan from the loans fund for purposes of purchasing such a vehicle. The amount of the loan is based on the price of the vehicle that has been deterined by the committee or the one actually purchased by the insured, whichever is lower.
