Choosing a career

The rehabilitation officer helps you to choose a training track and occupation, after speaking with you and learning about your ambitions, qualifications and limitations. If necessary, he may consult with psychologists, doctors and other rehabilitation experts. To help you to return to work as soon as possible, the rehabilitation officer helps you to choose a profession that is demand in the job market and can be learned within a set period of time.

Vocational training and study track
The duration, nature and location of the training are determined by your qualifications and the type of profession that was chosen. The profession can be learned in a variety of learning and training institutions at the end of which a vocational certificate or academic degree is conferred.

Job placement assistance
At the end of your studies or vocational training, the rehabilitation officer can help you to find work on the open job market. The Rehabilitation Division collaborates with several job placement agencies that specialize in finding jobs for the disabled.
