Persons with a special disability degree of 100% suffering from the injuries detailed in the Table below, are entitled to a refund for expenses related to their private travels abroad.
Please note,
- Funding is granted once every three years.
- Payment is calculated in USD but made in NIS.
To realize the advantages, you must submit a request to the Rehabilitation Department of the branch in charge of your file. You can also do so via the website.

The following documents must be attached to the application:

Voucher of air travel ticket (in cases of quadriplegia or amaurosis two vouchers must be attached – for both the entitled person and their escort).

Original receipt for the purchased tickets from the travel agent (for the entitled person only).
Disabled person with a special disability degree of 100% who was sent abroad on behalf of his work
Will be entitled once a year to a contribution in funding escort expenses for this travel.
The following documents must be attached to the application:
- A letter from his workplace confirming that the entitled was sent on behalf of his employer.
- Flying tickets vouchers of both the entitled and the escort.
- Original receipts from travel agency on tickets purchase - on the entitled's name alone.
- Receipts related to stay in hotels, transportation from/to airport at the time of the stay and payment of medical insurance for the escort.
