The National Insurance Institute reimburses family members for the following expenses:
- Loss of income during and as a result of the victim's hospitalization
- Living expenses during hospitalization
- For family members who live far from the hospital - accommodation and travel expenses
- Cell phone calls
- Television rental
- Parking
- Special situations
The assistance is provided to first-degree relatives (spouse, parent, child or sibling).
The amount of the assistance is determined by the severity of the injury and the family's situation.
