As of April 1, 2016, a death grant is paid to parents of a deceased child, which was receiving a disabled child allowance.
A grant amounting to NIS 9,930 (as of Jan 01, 2024) is paid automatically on the bank account of the recipient of the allowance.
To receive the grant, there is no need to contact the National Insurance Institute.
Important: beside the grant, a full monthly allowance is paid to the deceased child for the month of the death.
