Level 1


A Level 1 long-term care benefit is granted to those who have accumulated between 2.5 and 3 dependency points in the functioning capacity examination.
You can use the calculator "selection of a basket of long-term care services" to help you build a personal care program.


If you were granted a Level 1 long-term care benefit, you may choose between one of the following options:

First option – Personal care at home

You can receive 5 and a half hours personal home assistance per week.

Second option – long-term care services without personal care at home

You can receive the services of your choice up to 9 service units worth.

Involved services: visit in daycare centers , Kehila Tomechet membershipabsorbent products , panic button, and laundry services .

Third option – Benefit in cash

You can receive the entire allowance in cash – NIS 1,546 (as of Apr 01, 2024) per month. If you chose a cash benefit, it will be paid on your bank account in the month following your selection.

Fourth option – Combination of cash benefit and long-term care services

You can receive a cash benefit and long-term care services worth 5.5 service units per week.

Optional benefit components are as follows:

For example, you can choose to receive 3 and a half care hours per week and a benefit amounting to 562 (as of Apr 01, 2024) per month.

Please note,

  • If you received a benefit before 1.11.2018 – you may continue to receive 9 hours and 45 minutes of weekly care as you did so far.
  • If you are a recipient of a reduced benefit due to your incomes , you will be entitled to receive a half benefit in every option you might choose.
