Child orphaned due to domestic violence

Under the Benefits (Child Orphaned due to Domestic Violence) Law of 5775 -1995, a special benefit is paid to children whose parent was killed by a violent act committed by his/her spouse. This benefit is paid to those orphans in addition to other benefits to which they are entitled, such as survivors' pension and any other pension. Newborn whose mother passed away

If a woman dies in childbirth or within a year from the date of the birth, a special payment will be made for the newborn, in addition to the survivors pension paid on his behalf, provided that the deceased mother was entitled to a birth grant and/or a maternity allowance.

Orphan child whose remaining parent is receiving both old age pension and survivors pension

The parent will be entitled to an child increment for the old age pension as well as for the survivors' pension.

Orphan child who lost both parents

  • A child who lost both parents is entitled to receive two survivors' pension. If the orphan is entitled to a survivor pension with respect to one parent and to a pension related to victims of a work accident with respect to his other parent, this child shall choose between a pension related to victims of a work accident and two survivors' pensions.
  • If one of his parent has been injured during a hostile action, the orphan is entitled to a benefit for victims of hostile actions with respect to one parent and to a survivors' pension with respect to his other parent.
