The scope of medical treatment is determined by a physician of a health maintenance organization (HMO) by law, all medical treatment included in the health basket shall be provided by HMOs. Every medical treatment not included in the health basket will be provided by HMOs according to the agreements signed with the National Insurance.
Please note, one can appeal to the National Insurance against the physician's decision.
