You may be entitled to mobility benefits if you meet the following two conditions:

  1. A medical committee or a medical appeals committee of the Ministry of Health has established the percentage of his limited mobility due to an impairment in his legs, according to a list of defined impairments (in Hebrew).
You can appeal the decision of the medical committee to the Medical Appeal Committee of the Ministry of Health. You may submit an action against the decision of the Medical Appeal Committee to the regional court.
Please note, you cannot receive mobility benefits if only temporary mobility percentages were determined for you.
Once the Medical Board has established that you have an impairment in your lower limbs, according to the list of defined impairments, the National Insurance receives the protocol from the Health Bureau and regards it as a claim for mobility benefits.
  2. You are an Israeli resident who staying in Israel, from 3 years old until retirement age.
