Entitlement to medical care outside of HMOs

Medical care is generally provided by Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), however in following cases you will be entitled to private medical care outside of HMOs:

  1. First aid and emergency medical care - whenever you are unable to be provided medical care at HMO.
  2. Dental care coverage payment - under these conditions:
    • A HMO physician (service physician) found the medical care to be reasonable with respect to the condition.
    • Expenses coverage will be based upon tariffs fixed by the HMO.
    • You should arrange dental care with your HMO prior to beginning to receive the treatment, to be aware beforehand whether the treatments are covered by the HMO, and the amount of coverage you are eligible for according to HMO tariffs.
  3. Medical care that the HMO agreed to cover in advance and in writing, even through it has not been provided by its clinics.
