Grants to disabled person who subsist on special benefits


Disabled people whose livelihood relies exclusively on special benefits are entitled to the following grants:

Grant for a son / daughter wedding

To obtain the grant, contact the Hostile Actions Department of the branch nearest to your place of residence, within one year of the wedding's date, together with a marriage certificate.
The documents can be sent directly to the department at the branch by means of the website.

Grant amount: NIS 5,000.

Bar / Bat Mitzvah grant for children

The grant will be paid automatically with the benefit in the month in which children reached the age of Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Grant amount: NIS 3,000.

Holiday grant

Disabled people who receive a special benefit at the lacking livelihood level for at least a year, or a special benefit at the level of medical treatment compensation only, are entitled to a holiday grant twice a year, which will be paid automatically in March and August.

Eligibility is determined according to relevant data in the month of payment of the benefit.

Grant amount:

  • For single or married disabled people without children: NIS 310.
  • For married people with children: NIS 624.
