Mobility allowance

Invalids entitled to a medical vehicle are entitled to a monthly mobility allowance in addition to the disability benefit.

Those who have not realized their entitlement to a vehicle are also entitled to a mobility allowance, which is paid to them is if they have purchased a vehicle.

The amount of the payment depends on the mobility level, determined according to the type of injury, level of disability and the degree of driving disability of the disabled person (regardless of the type of vehicle actually used by the disabled person).

The monthly mobility allowance is intended as a contribution towards car maintenance expenses and mobility-related expenses, such as travelling to one's workplace, studies, sports training or any other purpose, except for traveling to receive injury-related medical treatment as well contribution towards vehicle maintenance expenses, periodic maintenance, repairs and parking fees.

The basis for calculating the mobility allowance is the car allowance paid to civil servants (500 km a month), and is made up of variable expenses (kilometre quota for each mobility level) and fixed expenses that change from time to time according to the provisions of the ministry of finance.
