Annual grant for home equipment for people with a degree of disability of 20% or more

Disabled people with a degree of disability of 20% or more are entitled to an annual grant for the purchase of household appliance.

Grant rate

The amount of the grant is NIS 741.

For disabled persons with a hand or leg impairment and a degree of disability of 80% or more – a grant amounting to NIS 1,069 will be paid.

How the grant can be obtained?

The grant is paid once a year automatically together with the March benefit.

Household appliance grants for people with a degree of disability from 10% to 19% who receive a monthly allowance

Disabled people with a degree of disability from 10% to 19% who were injured before 1996 and receive a monthly allowance, will be able to receive a participation in the purchase of 4 types of appliances:

Electric refrigerator, washing machine, TV and cooking and baking oven.

Conditions of entitlement:

  • The disabled person was not married at the time of his or her first Medical Board that established the disability, married afterwards and purchased the appliances after the wedding.
  • A disabled person who is a single parent (single-parent family).
  • In both of these cases, he or she has not previously received a refund as participation in the purchase of 4 electrical appliances.

Amount of the participation:

  • For a refrigerator: NIS 1,651
  • For a washing machine: NIS 912
  • For a TV: NIS 1,054
  • For a cooking and baking oven: NIS 1,124.

How the grant can be obtained?

Approach the Hostile Actions Casualties Department of the branch nearest to your place of residence, with an original receipt in the name of the beneficiary detailing the type of product purchased. The documents can be sent directly to the Department at the branch by means of the website.
